Blue bacteria are classified as Cyanophyta in botany and algae. Because of its simple cell junctions, there are no nuclear membranes and nucleoli, only pseudonuclei, with chlorophyll and phycocyanin, and no chloroplasts. Therefore, it is affiliated with the blue light bacteria phylum of the prokaryote community. This bacterium is called blue bacteria.
