⒈假如一個雙陽性細胞表面能與胸腺 皮質(zhì)上皮細胞表面MHCI類或Ⅱ類分子發(fā)生有效結合，就可能被選 擇而繼續(xù)發(fā)育，否則會發(fā)生程序性的細胞死亡（apoptosis）。 MHCI類分子選擇CD8復合受體（coreceptor），而使同一個雙陽 性細胞表面CD4復合受體減少；MHCⅡ類分子選擇CD4復合受體，而 使CD8受體減少。這種選擇過程賦于成熟CD8 CD4-T細胞具有識別 抗原多肽片段與自身MHcI類分子復合物的能力，CD4 CD8-T細胞 具有識別抗原多肽片段與自身MHcⅡ類分子復合物的能力，成為T 細胞MHC限制現(xiàn)象的基礎。⒉性選擇過程（negative selection ） 經(jīng)過陽性選擇后的T細胞還必須經(jīng)過一個性選擇過程，才能成 為成熟的、具有識別外來抗原的T細胞。位于皮質(zhì)與髓質(zhì)交界處的 樹突狀細胞（dendritic cell,DC）和巨噬細胞表達高水平的 MHCI類抗原和Ⅱ類抗原，自身抗原成分與DC或巨噬細胞表面MHCI 類或Ⅱ類抗原形成復合物。經(jīng)過陽性選擇后的胸腺細胞如能識別 DC或巨噬細胞表面自身抗原與MHC抗原復合物，即發(fā)生自身耐受（ selftolerance）而停止發(fā)育，而不發(fā)生結合的胸腺細胞才能繼 續(xù)發(fā)育為CD4 CD8-或CD4-CD8 單陽性細胞，離開胸腺遷移到外周 血液中去。機體的某些自身抗原可通過以下幾種方式來躲避免疫 系統(tǒng)的識別。
1. Negative selection After positive selection, T cells must undergo a sexual selection process to become mature T cells that recognize foreign antigens.
