從以上幾個(gè)山地垂直自然帶分布狀況可以知道；山地所處的緯度 愈低，山地海拔高度愈高，山地垂直自然帶愈復(fù)雜；山地垂直自然帶是在山地所處的水平地帶基礎(chǔ)上形 成和發(fā)展起來(lái)的，例如乞力馬扎羅山位于赤道帶，水熱條件濕熱，所以山麓自然帶即基帶，屬于赤道雨林帶（即熱帶雨林帶）；長(zhǎng)白山處于溫帶濕潤(rùn)地帶，所以基帶是溫帶針葉與落 葉闊葉混交林帶。山地地形情況很復(fù)雜，例如喜馬拉雅山南坡相對(duì)高度很大，又處于熱帶邊緣，所以垂直帶非常復(fù)雜而相當(dāng)完整；北坡相對(duì)高度不大，北坡 坡麓就是青藏高原的一部分，所以垂直自然帶比較簡(jiǎn)單。
海洋自然帶指海洋上的自然地理分帶。遼 闊的海洋與陸地 相比，其表面非常單一，表層的溫度、鹽度、水層動(dòng)態(tài)及海洋生物的分布等也都有一定的緯向地帶性。 但由于海洋水體具有巨大的流動(dòng)性，故地帶性表現(xiàn)不如大陸明顯，各自然帶之間的界限只能大體確定， 海洋自然帶數(shù)目也較少。
海洋自然帶的劃分，仍以熱量帶為基礎(chǔ)，生物群的分布也是劃分海洋自然帶的主要標(biāo)志之一。根據(jù)冬季海 洋表層水溫的不同，分為冷水（小于0℃）、溫水（0°～10℃）、暖水（10°～20℃）和熱水（大于20 ℃）等四種類(lèi)型。結(jié)合與海水溫度、理化特征和水體運(yùn)動(dòng)密切的浮游生物的數(shù)量變化，可將世界海 洋分為七個(gè)自然帶。
（1）北極帶。地處高緯區(qū)，太陽(yáng)輻射量較少。冬季干冷，zui冷月1～3月平均溫- 30～-40℃；夏季涼爽，7～8月份平均溫0～5℃。北極帶包括巴倫支海的大部分 水面以外的北冰洋，以及北美東部紐芬蘭到冰島一線(xiàn)西北的大西洋部分。這里表層水溫低，又因大陸冰凍期長(zhǎng)，江河流入海洋的營(yíng) 養(yǎng)鹽類(lèi)不多，故海洋生物種數(shù)有限，僅在冰融化的邊緣海域，才有浮游生物，并將一些魚(yú)類(lèi)和其它動(dòng)物 吸引到此處。其中具有經(jīng)濟(jì)價(jià)值的魚(yú)類(lèi)主要有北極鱈、白海鯡等；此外，還有鯨目動(dòng)物（北極鯨或格陵 蘭鯨）以及海豹、海象和海鷗、海雀、海鸚等。
（2）北溫帶。北鄰北極帶，大體相當(dāng)于北緯30～60°。全年盛行西風(fēng)，氣候溫暖濕潤(rùn) ，zui熱月8月平均溫10～22℃，zui冷月2月0～10℃。因受洋流及大氣環(huán)流影響，大洋東側(cè)的平均溫比西側(cè) 低5℃。

The natural zone of the ocean refers to the natural geographical division on the ocean. Compared with land, the vast ocean has a very simple surface. The surface temperature, salinity, dynamics of the water layer, and the distribution of marine organisms also have certain zonal zonality. However, due to the huge fluidity of oceanic water bodies, the zonal performance is not as pronounced as that of the mainland. The boundary between natural belts can only be roughly determined, and the number of marine natural belts is also small.
The division of the natural belts of the sea is still based on heat bands, and the distribution of biota is also one of the main signs that divide the natural belts of the oceans. According to the difference of surface water temperature in winter, it can be divided into four types: cold water (less than 0°C), warm water (0°～10°C), warm water (10°～20°C) and hot water (greater than 20°C). (2) North Temperate Zone. North of the North Pole, roughly equivalent to 30 to 60 degrees north latitude. The prevailing westerly winds throughout the year have a warm and humid climate. The average temperature of the hottest month of August is 10 to 22°C, and that of the coldest month is 0 to 10°C. Due to ocean currents and atmospheric circulation, the average temperature on the east side of the ocean is 5°C lower than on the west side.
