Paolo E. In many other human diseases, including Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease, the mitochondrial superoxide can be blocked by special antioxidants such as MitoTEMPO. The results of administration to mice as well as administration to human tumor models have demonstrated that these compounds are highly effective in blocking the migration of tumor cells and prevent the spontaneous formation of human tumors in mice.
The study found great encouragement for researchers and laid the foundation for the prevention and treatment of tumor cell metastasis in clinical trials in the future.
